Geoffrey Brunton

I was born in 1953 and live in Sevenoaks, Kent.

I read economics at the University of East Anglia before taking the legal professional exams and qualifying as a solicitor in 1980.  Before moving into niche practice, I spent 6 years specialising in shipping and commodity trading matters in one of the large maritime law firms in London EC3.

In January 2000 I became a solicitor advocate and thus entitled to appear as an advocate in all civil courts in England and Wales.

I am also an accredited mediator.

My practice is primarily concerned with dispute resolution, including litigation and arbitration, although I also undertake some non-contentious work (including drafting contracts; drafting and advising on sale and purchase terms and conditions (international trade)) in the following areas:-
