William Stockler

I was born in 1945 in London and have lived there all my life except for a period of 7 years when I practised in Germany.

I read law at Jesus College Oxford.  I acquired a number of years experience in two major City of London law firms before deciding to offer that level of service to clients through my own niche practice.

I am now a solicitor advocate and am entitled to appear as an advocate before all the civil courts of this country.

My practice area is primarily commercial civil litigation including the following areas:-

  • - International disputes and conflict of laws
  • - Banking
  • - Insurance
  • - Commodities
  • - Shipping
  • - Professional negligence
  • - All forms of contractual disputes
  • - Employment contracts
  • - Tax disputes with Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs
  • - Property disputes
  • - Shareholder disputes
  • - Partnership disputes

I also deal with a number of non-contentious matters and in particular:-

  • - Company formations and purchases
  • - International tax
